Odisha CM's Visit to Delhi
Bhubaneswar: On Saturday, Odisha's Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various developments in the state under the BJP administration.
During his four-day visit to the national capital, Majhi attended the NITI Aayog governing council meeting prior to his meeting with the Prime Minister.
He also had a discussion with BJP National President JP Nadda on the same day.
According to sources, Majhi invited both Prime Minister Modi and President Nadda to a ceremony celebrating the first anniversary of his government in Odisha, scheduled for June 12.
Prime Minister Modi had previously attended the swearing-in ceremony of Majhi's government on June 12, 2024.

Majhi expressed on X, "I was honored to meet Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi today. I am deeply thankful for his steadfast support and inspiring vision for Odisha's growth. We engaged in significant discussions regarding the state's comprehensive development, focusing on enhancing infrastructure, welfare, and job creation. I am committed to collaborating for the advancement of our state and nation, guided by the shared vision of Viksit Odisha, Viksit Bharat."
In another post, he mentioned, "I had the honor of meeting Hon'ble BJP National President and Union Health Minister Shri @JPNadda Ji in New Delhi. We had fruitful discussions on fortifying Odisha's healthcare system. I highlighted our commitment to universal health coverage and requested ongoing central support to improve medical infrastructure, expand medical education, and enhance healthcare access in remote regions."
