Jammu: In response to reports of suspicious activity, security forces have initiated a search operation in the forested regions of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir, according to officials.

The operation was prompted by a report from a woman who observed two individuals behaving suspiciously in the Bhaga area on Wednesday night, leading to a coordinated search effort in the vicinity.

This operation is being executed by a combined team of security personnel, supported by aerial surveillance.

Authorities are implementing comprehensive security protocols to maintain safety in the region.

Additionally, security forces have extended their search efforts into Kathua district for a second consecutive day, following another report of suspicious behavior from a local woman.

The joint operation, involving police and paramilitary forces, is focused on Gaghwal and surrounding areas.

According to reports, a local woman informed the police that two men dressed in army uniforms visited her home asking for water before departing, claiming they were heading back to their 'camp.'
