Rajnath Singh's Strategic Visit to Bhuj: A Response to Pakistan's Claims

Defence Minister's Visit to Bhuj Air Force Station
New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived at the Indian Air Force Station in Bhuj, Gujarat, shortly after the successful execution of 'Operation Sindoor'. This operation involved the destruction of numerous terror assets located in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and within Pakistan itself.
Accompanied by Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, the Defence Minister is set to assess the air force command center and commend the personnel for their effective response to the terror-supporting nation.
The significance of Singh's visit is heightened by Pakistan's claims of having inflicted substantial damage on this Indian airbase.
His presence at the Bhuj IAF station aims to debunk Pakistan's unfounded assertions and demonstrate to the international community that the Indian armed forces successfully defended their borders and airbases, neutralizing all threats posed by projectiles and missiles launched from across the border in retaliation to 'Operation Sindoor'.
Just a day prior, Singh visited Jammu and Kashmir to evaluate the security landscape, particularly along the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border.
While addressing the troops, he remarked on the targeting of innocent tourists in Pahalgam based on their religion, asserting that Indian forces responded by eliminating terrorists in both Pakistan and PoK based on their actions.
He stated, "Terrorists killed innocent people in Pahalgam by asking their 'dharma' (religion they follow). Then, the whole world saw 'Operation Sindoor'. We killed terrorists by looking at their 'karma' (deeds). This was Pakistan's 'karma', but we eliminated them by looking at their 'karma', this is our 'Bharatiya dharma'."
Additionally, Singh raised concerns regarding the safety of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal, urging the global nuclear watchdog to oversee the country's weapons.
He labeled Pakistan as an irresponsible nation, asserting, "India will not yield to any nuclear blackmail from Pakistan, as demonstrated by our strikes on terror targets."
Singh concluded by suggesting that it is time for an international body to take control of Pakistan's nuclear facilities to put an end to their nuclear threats.
