Monsoon Arrives in North India: Heavy Rainfall and Cooler Temperatures Expected

Monsoon Update for North India
North India Monsoon LIVE Updates: Weather patterns have become favorable for the progression of the Southwest Monsoon across Central, Western, Eastern, and Northern regions of India. A significant drop in temperatures has provided much-needed relief to residents suffering from the extreme heat affecting various states. The Monsoon is currently in an active phase, with forecasts indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar over the next two days.
On Tuesday, the Monsoon made its presence felt in Delhi and Kolkata, bringing showers to several areas within these cities. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also announced that pre-monsoon showers are expected in Northeast India over the next five days, with particularly heavy rainfall anticipated in Meghalaya on June 18th and 19th. The Weather Department has indicated that India is likely to experience above-average rainfall during the latter part of June.
This latest weather forecast arrives as a severe heatwave continues to affect numerous regions. While heavy rains are expected to persist across various parts of North India until June 22, a notable decrease in temperatures is anticipated after June 20. Residents are encouraged to prepare adequately and make necessary arrangements for the upcoming rainy season.
