Manish Pandey Prepares for IPL 2025 Clash Against RCB

Kolkata Knight Riders Gear Up for RCB Showdown
As the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) prepare for a crucial match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Saturday, batter Manish Pandey shared his insights on this significant encounter. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently announced the continuation of the IPL's 18th season, revealing the schedule for the remaining 17 matches after a brief suspension due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
Manish Pandey Discusses the Upcoming Match
During a pre-match press conference, Pandey remarked, “We have nothing to lose at this point. We believe we could have performed better as a team. We discussed our previous loss, which was quite significant. With two matches left, every player is eager to showcase their skills, especially in a venue like Chinnaswamy, where RCB fans are present. Winning against them is definitely a priority.”
A Long-Standing Rivalry
The rivalry between KKR and RCB has been intense for many years. A memorable match occurred in 2017 when KKR's bowlers dismissed the Bengaluru team for just 49 runs, marking the lowest total in IPL history. Over the past decade, KKR has maintained a stronghold at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, remaining unbeaten there since 2015.
Anticipation for the Match
As the IPL resumes on May 17, the match will see Royal Challengers Bengaluru face off against the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
