Kishan's Commitment to Improvement

Ishan Kishan, the batsman for Sunrisers Hyderabad, expressed his determination to enhance his performance in the ongoing IPL season, stating he is not satisfied with his current form. His impressive unbeaten score of 94 runs played a crucial role in securing a significant 42-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore.


During the post-match award ceremony, Kishan remarked, 'Overall, I am not very pleased with my performance. I could have done better this season. This is a learning game, and one must continue to work hard.'


In his innings of 48 balls, Kishan struck seven fours and five sixes. After receiving the Player of the Match award, he noted that he realized the nature of the Lucknow pitch when openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head scored 54 runs in just four overs.


He added, 'It's crucial to watch the ball and play your game. The moment I saw Abhishek and Travis Head start the game like that, I knew it was a great pitch. I was just focused on playing good shots. The plan was very simple.'
