Grand Inauguration of Ram Darbar at Ayodhya Temple

Spiritual Milestone Achieved in Ayodhya
On Thursday, the sacred city of Ayodhya reached a remarkable spiritual milestone with the grand consecration of the Ram Darbar within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. A special highlight for devotees from Gujarat was the adornment of the idols with exquisite jewelry, including a 1,000-carat diamond, 30 kilograms of silver, 300 grams of gold, and 300 carats of rubies, all generously donated by Mukesh Patel, a businessman from Surat. These precious gems were utilized to create 11 crowns, three maces, necklaces, tilaks, earrings, and a set of bows and arrows. The jewelry was transported to Ayodhya via a chartered flight with government assistance and handed over to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that the construction of the Ram temple involved the use of 45 kilograms of pure gold, valued at approximately 50 crore rupees. Nrupendra Mishra, the chairman of the temple construction committee, confirmed on Friday that a total of 45 kilograms of pure (24-carat) gold was utilized in the temple's construction. On Thursday, a ceremonial consecration of the Ram Darbar, featuring Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and brothers Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna, along with the devotee Hanuman, was conducted with full rituals.

Newadia informed a news agency that Mukesh Patel has donated 11 crowns crafted from 1,000 carats of diamonds, 30 kilograms of silver, 300 grams of gold, and 300 carats of rubies. In addition to the crowns, Patel also donated necklaces, earrings, tikas, and four large and three small bows for Lord Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughna, along with four quivers and three maces.

In the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the consecration of the Ram Darbar took place on Thursday, along with the installation of idols in eight newly constructed temples within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
