Haridwar: A tragic stampede at the Mansa Devi Temple in Uttarakhand's Haridwar has resulted in the deaths of at least six individuals, as confirmed by SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal.

The chaos erupted early Sunday morning due to an overwhelming number of devotees visiting the temple during the sacred month of Shravan.

He shared on social media, "I have received extremely distressing news about the stampede at Mansa Devi Temple. The Uttarakhand SDRF, local police, and other rescue teams are on-site conducting relief operations."

He further stated, "I am in constant communication with local authorities regarding this incident, and we are monitoring the situation closely. I pray for the safety of all devotees."
