Traffic Advisory for IPL Match

Delhi: In anticipation of the IPL match between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Titans (GT) scheduled for May 18, 2025, at Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Delhi Traffic Police has released a detailed traffic advisory. This advisory will be in effect from 5:30 PM until midnight on the same day, outlining various traffic restrictions and diversions aimed at facilitating smooth movement for both commuters and spectators.

Traffic Diversions and Restricted Areas

The match is set to kick off at 7:30 PM, and significant traffic measures are being implemented. Drivers of heavy vehicles, including buses, should be aware that access from Daryaganj to Bahadurshah Zafar (BSZ) Marg and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road will be prohibited until midnight. The following roads will also be restricted:

J.LN. Marg: From Rajghat to Delhi Gate up to R/A Kamla Market
Asaf Ali Road: From Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate
Bahadurshah Zafar Marg: From Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk

Stadium Entry Points

Entry to the stadium will be permitted at Gate Nos. 1-8 (Southern side) via Bahadurshah Zafar Marg.
Entry will also be allowed at Gate Nos. 10-15 (Eastern side) through JLN Marg near Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal.
Additionally, entry at Gate Nos. 16-18 (Western side) will be accessible via Bahadurshah Zafar Marg near the Petrol Pump.

Parking Information

Free Parking: Available at Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Velodrome Road.
Designated Parking (For Labeled Vehicles):
P-1: Four-wheeler parking at JP Park (Opposite Gate No. 3)
P-2: Four-wheeler parking at Vikram Nagar, next to Shahidi Park
P-3: Two-wheeler parking near JJB/Prayas Office
P-4: Parking available at GLNS School near JJB-Prayas Office.

NOTE: General parking is not permitted near the stadium except for labeled vehicles. It is mandatory to display a parking label with the vehicle and driver's contact number on the windscreen.
