Air India Plane Crash Investigation
The black box from the Air India aircraft that crashed in Ahmedabad on Thursday was retrieved on Friday from the rooftop of a hostel that the plane struck. This device's data could shed light on the causes of the tragic incident, which resulted in the deaths of at least 265 individuals.
The aircraft was carrying 241 passengers when it collided with the BJ Medical College hostel in Ahmedabad's Meghaninagar area, leading to the deaths of at least four medical students on the ground. While the exact number of casualties remains uncertain, a police inspector confirmed that 265 bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations.
So far, the remains of six victims have been returned to their families, as their faces were recognizable. Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the final death toll will be announced once all bodies are identified.

In Dhubri, Assam, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has ordered shoot-at-sight measures during nighttime due to ongoing communal unrest following the discovery of animal remains near a Hindu temple. Authorities have arrested 22 individuals in connection with this incident.
Chief Minister Sarma declared, "Anyone who causes disturbances will be shot." He also mentioned the deployment of the Rapid Action Force and the Central Reserve Police Force in the area. The chief minister alleged that the remains found near the temple included parts of a cow's head.
Israel's Strikes on Iran
Israel has confirmed that it conducted airstrikes targeting what it described as "nuclear sites" in Iran, aiming to hinder the nation's nuclear ambitions. In response, Tehran has vowed to retaliate against the attack that resulted in the death of the chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to state media reports.
Tel Aviv asserted that Iran is closer than ever to acquiring a nuclear weapon, labeling the potential possession of such weapons by the Iranian regime as a significant threat to both Israel and global security.
Iran has consistently claimed that its nuclear program is intended for peaceful purposes.

The resolution called for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in the ongoing conflict in Gaza. It also reiterated demands for the unconditional release of hostages held by Hamas and the unobstructed delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.
