On Wednesday, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed plans for the Railways to adopt e-Aadhaar authentication for booking Tatkal tickets.

This will help genuine users get confirmed tickets during need.
This initiative follows a viral post by Dr. A. Velumani, founder of Thyrocare, who shared an image on X claiming that the IRCTC website becomes unresponsive at 10 a.m. even when seats are available. He expressed his disbelief, stating, “Shocking. If it is true, it is betrayal. !!”

He further elaborated on X, sharing insights from his experience at Thyrocare, where they faced similar server load issues. Velumani suggested that if the IRCTC is indeed experiencing server problems from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., they should allow only a fraction of train bookings each hour to optimize server performance.

He urged others to retweet his message until the relevant authorities address the issue.
We too had similar chronic peak server load problem in #Thyrocare. We could not afford costly spare servers. But we solved it by staggering it. My managers were wise. 😂
