The Israeli Prime Minister's office also communicated on X, stating that Netanyahu has been in discussions with various world leaders, including the German Chancellor, Modi, and the French President. He is expected to connect with leaders from the US, Russia, and the UK soon.
The statement emphasized that these leaders expressed understanding of Israel's defense requirements in light of perceived threats from Iran, with Netanyahu indicating he would maintain contact with them in the days ahead.
Netanyahu's Military Update
Earlier, Netanyahu described the initial military actions as a "very successful opening strike," expressing optimism for future successes with divine assistance.
He remarked, "Following a very successful opening strike, we targeted senior commanders and key scientists involved in nuclear bomb development, as well as nuclear facilities. We are achieving significant results, but I must remind you that there are no wars without costs. Therefore, I urge you to heed the orders from senior command, as you may need to remain in protected areas for an extended period."
Ongoing Military Operations
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Brig. Gen. Efi Defferin reported that operations against Iranian targets are ongoing, having caused substantial damage to the Natanz nuclear facility.
He cautioned that the military campaign may be prolonged, stating, "Iran possesses both the intent and capability to respond."
Defferin advised the public to stay calm, noting that while defenses are active, they are not foolproof. He concluded, "We have no option but to confront this threat."
