Bharmour Hosts Cleanliness Drive for World Environment Day

Bharmour: In celebration of World Environment Day, a dedicated cleanliness initiative took place in the Bharmour subdivision, spearheaded by Tehsildar Tejram. The primary goal of this event was to raise awareness regarding environmental preservation and to encourage cleanliness among the community.
During the campaign, thorough cleaning activities were conducted within the secretariat grounds and various departmental offices. Numerous officials and staff members took part in this initiative, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship.
Tehsildar Tejram addressed attendees, highlighting that maintaining cleanliness is a collective responsibility that extends beyond a single day. He called on citizens to keep their surroundings tidy and to embrace a lifestyle that aligns with nature.
Moreover, under Tehsildar Tejram's guidance, the Government Senior Secondary School in Bharmour organized an awareness rally that stretched from Patti Secretariat to Chaurasi Complex. Students from various groups, including NCC, NSS, Health, Van Mitra, and Eco Club, participated alongside local police teams.
In addition, the Bharmour Development Block and Gram Panchayat Bharmour executed a tree planting and cleanliness campaign near Patti Nala, where they successfully planted 25 deodar saplings.
The event saw participation from Bharmour Pradhan Anil Kumar, Principal Aruna Chadak, Lecturer Krishna Pakhretia, Eco Club In-charge Anamika Sharma, Health Supervisor Vandana Chauhan, along with officials from different departments, local residents, and students from the school.
