Ray Stevenson is popular for his role as British Governor Mr. Scott in SS Rajamouli's RRR. The actor played the role of a brutal and racist British dictator. He was known for his brutality towards Junior NTR aka Komaram Bheem in RRR's song Komaram Bhimudu.

Ray Stevenson died at the age of 58. The actor's representatives confirmed his death and said that he died on Sunday, four days before his birthday. According to reports in the newspaper publication La Repubblica, he was hospitalized with a sudden illness while shooting for a casino in Ischia.
