India have achieved a remarkable 10-match winning streak, while Australia have won eight matches and lost two games in the marquee event.

In a video shared on his Instagram handle, Hardik Pandya expressed pride in the team's achievements and emphasized the years of hard work behind their success. Pandya highlighted the importance of winning the trophy for the Indian nationals.
“I couldn't be more proud of this team. Everything we have done so far is a credit to our years of hard work behind us. We are now one step away from glory, doing something special that we have dreamed of since childhood," Pandya said.
“Lifting the cup not just for us but for the billions behind us. With my love and all my heart always with you. Now let's bring the cup home. Jai Hind,” added Pandya.
Hardik Pandya suffered an ankle injury while bowling against Bangladesh at the start of the World Cup, ruling him out of the rest of the tournament. As a result of his injury, the legendary Krishna was included in Pandya's place in India's 15-member squad for the prestigious event.

The 30-year-old thanked the outpouring of wishes and love after his World Cup exit. He acknowledged the hardship of not going to the rest of the tournament but assured that he will be with the team to cheer them on.
“It's hard to digest the fact that I will miss the rest of the World Cup. I will be with the team, in spirit, cheering them on every ball of every game.
