Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025: A Premier Javelin Throwing Event in Bengaluru

Exciting Javelin Throwing Event Scheduled
The Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025, a highly anticipated javelin throwing competition, is set to take place in Bengaluru on July 5. Originally planned for May 24, the event was postponed due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. Arshad Nadeem, the reigning Olympic champion from Pakistan, had previously opted out of participating. Despite this, Neeraj Chopra, the gold medalist from Tokyo 2020 and current men's world champion, is expected to be the star of the event, facing off against several top competitors.
Event Details and Organization
The NC Classic is being organized by a five-time world champion in javelin, in collaboration with JSW Sports, the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), and World Athletics (WA). The venue has been shifted to Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru from the originally intended Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana, due to issues with the floodlights at the initial location. This event is classified as a WA A category or Continental Tour Gold-level meet, marking it as one of the most significant international athletic events hosted in India.

Tickets for the event are priced at 199 and 299 rupees for the East Lower and East Upper stands, respectively. For West Block A, North Lower, and VIP B, tickets are available for 499 rupees, while North Upper tickets are set at 999 rupees. VVIP and corporate tickets are offered at 2999 rupees each.
