Sanju Samson has been dropped from the squad while Shreyas Iyer will join the squad for the last T20I. He will also take over the role of vice-captain from Ruturaj Gaikwad for the last two matches. Tilak Verma and Rinku Singh will man the middle order with Jitesh Sharma as the team's second keeper. BCCI has named three all-rounders Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel and Shivam Dubey in the squad. Akshar will make a comeback to the team after being ruled out of the World Cup squad due to injury.
