Sanju Samson has been dropped from the squad while Shreyas Iyer will join the squad for the last T20I. He will also take over the role of vice-captain from Ruturaj Gaikwad for the last two matches. Ishan Kishan, who is also a wicketkeeper, and Yashaswi Jaiswal are the two openers in the team.
Tilak Verma and Rinku Singh will man the middle order with Jitesh Sharma as the team's second keeper. BCCI has named three all-rounders Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel and Shivam Dubey in the squad. Akshar will make a comeback to the team after being ruled out of the World Cup squad due to injury.
Ravi Bishnoi has been picked as a leg-spinner while there is no indication for Yuzvendra Chahal, who was also dropped from the Indian squad for the ICC World Cup 2023. India's fast bowler division Arshdeep Singh, the famous Krishna will see young legs. , Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar.
