TVS Motor Unveils New Jupiter 125 Dual Tone Variant in India

Introduction of the New Jupiter 125 Dual Tone

TVS Motor Company has launched the latest Jupiter 125 Dual Tone in the SXC variant within the Indian market. This new variant introduces dual-tone color choices for consumers, enhancing the already popular Jupiter 125CC scooter with updated styling and improved connectivity features.

Features and Enhancements

The updated model includes two fresh dual-tone color options: Ivory Brown and Ivory Grey. Additionally, it boasts 3D emblems, dual-tone inner panels, and body-colored rear grab rails, all contributing to the scooter's visual appeal. To further distinguish itself from competitors, the scooter is equipped with the TVS Smart X Connect feature, enabling functionalities like SMS alerts, Turn By Turn Navigation, Voice Commands, and vehicle tracking, ensuring a more connected riding experience.

Mechanical Specifications

Mechanically, the new TVS Jupiter remains unchanged. It is powered by a 124.8 cc air-cooled engine that generates 8.7 BHP and 11.1 NM of peak torque. This single-cylinder engine is paired with a CVT unit. With the introduction of this new color variant, TVS aims to strengthen its appeal among new customers and provide an upgraded version of the scooter.

Upcoming TVS Jupiter CNG

In addition to the new dual-tone variant, TVS is also preparing to launch a CNG version of the Jupiter. This model was previously showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Initial observations suggest that the CNG tanks will be located under the seat, replacing the usual storage compartment found in petrol versions. The scooter will still feature a 2-liter petrol tank mounted on the floorboard for emergency use. Although specific details about the Jupiter CNG have not been disclosed, it is likely to utilize the same 124.8 cc single-cylinder engine, producing 7.2 PS at 6000 RPM and 9.4 Nm at 5,500 RPM, with a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
