Jio Introduces Unlimited 5G Data Plans and AI-Driven JioTranslate Feature for Users

JIO 5G Unlimited Data Plan: New Details
The new unlimited 5G data plans will be available starting next month at 2GB/day and above plans. Jio has shared some good news for JioBharat and JioPhone users who will continue to enjoy the same data plan without any changes or price changes.
“This move will further enable industry innovation and drive sustainable growth through investment in 5G and AI technologies. Jio will always put our country and customer first and continue to invest for India," Reliance Jio Chairman Akash M Ambani said.
There is no change for JIOPHONE/JIOBHARAT tariff
Jio offers its standalone true 5G network in the country, and claims to have around 85 percent of the total 5G cells operating on its network in India. Jio is also aware of the 250 million feature phone users who are limited to 2G networks and want to experience high-speed 4G networks for which you have JioPhone and JioBharat devices in the market.
JIO announces AI-powered services for free
Apart from the new unlimited 5G data plans, Jio has also introduced its first set of AI-powered features that will be available for free to Jio users. JioTranslate is a new AI-powered multilingual communication app that can help you translate calls, voice messages, text and even images.
The telco also announced JioSafe, a quantum-secure communication app that helps you call, message and transfer files between people. After Jio users are getting both these services (worth Rs 298 per month) for free for one year, JioSafe per month will cost Rs. 199, while JioTranslate is priced at just Rs. 99 per month will be.
