How to Play NYT Connections
In NYT Connections, players receive a grid filled with words and must uncover the hidden connections among them. Consider synonyms, antonyms, and word families to solve the puzzle. The game allows you to track your daily progress and challenge friends to see who can solve the most puzzles. A new puzzle is available every day at midnight, and players must organize 16 words into four groups of four based on their connections. Each group is color-coded, with yellow typically being the easiest and purple the most challenging, often involving wordplay.
To play, select four words you believe are related and click the ‘Submit’ button. Incorrect guesses will cost you a life, while correct groupings may prompt hints indicating you're close to success. If you make four mistakes, the game ends.
