Fatal Accident on Expressway

In a tragic incident on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, a bus collided with a stationary truck at a toll plaza early Wednesday morning, resulting in the deaths of two passengers and injuries to 15 others, according to police reports.


The bus, which was en route from Delhi to Bihar, struck the truck parked by the roadside near the Fatehabad toll plaza around 1 AM.


Authorities confirmed that the two deceased passengers died at the scene, and their identities have yet to be established.


Assistant Police Commissioner Aman Deep stated that they received information about the accident late at night, prompting an immediate response from the police. All injured passengers have been admitted to a hospital for treatment, and the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination.
