Severe Weather Alert Issued for Delhi with Thunderstorms and Rain Expected

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'Yellow Alert' for the national capital, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by rain and lightning on Wednesday.
The weather agency reported that the minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 24.7 degrees Celsius, which is 2.2 degrees below the normal range. The 'Yellow Alert' serves as a warning that adverse weather conditions may arise, potentially disrupting daily activities.
According to the IMD, there is a forecast for rain with wind speeds reaching between 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. At 8:30 AM, the relative humidity was noted at 71 percent.
The IMD also indicated that the maximum temperature could reach up to 34 degrees Celsius. At 9 AM, the Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 181, categorizing the air quality as moderate.
Data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) classifies the AQI as follows: 0-50 is considered 'Good', 51-100 is 'Satisfactory', 101-200 is 'Moderate', 201-300 is 'Poor', 301-400 is 'Very Poor', and 401-500 is 'Severe'.
