(Gurugram News) In a recent operation, police detained several girls loitering on MG Road. The authorities conducted a special checking drive during the night, resulting in the apprehension of multiple individuals. A police spokesperson reported on Wednesday that similar checks were carried out at various locations, including MG Road.
Gurugram Police Initiates Targeted Operation
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Karan Goyal, teams from the Women’s Police Station in Sector 51 and the West Gurugram Police conducted a focused operation. This initiative aimed to monitor and check individuals loitering in public spaces, including men, women, and girls, across various locations on MG Road.
During this operation, police teams conducted checks at key areas such as City Court, IFFCO Chowk, Sector 29, Sikanderpur, and MG Road. They detained individuals found loitering, resulting in the apprehension of 35 girls and women. The police warned them against engaging in such activities before releasing them.
Deputy Commissioner Karan Goyal emphasized that the presence of individuals involved in inappropriate activities creates significant issues for local residents and commuters. The increase in such behavior also attracts troublemakers, negatively impacting the environment. This special operation was launched by Gurugram Police to curb such activities and ensure a safer atmosphere for the public.
