Srikanth Triumphs Over Prannoy

In an exciting match at the Swiss Open Super 300 badminton tournament, Kidambi Srikanth secured his place in the second round by defeating fellow Indian HS Prannoy. The match, lasting 48 minutes, saw Srikanth, currently ranked 49th in the world, triumph with scores of 23-21, 23-21, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure during critical moments.


Meanwhile, Shankar Subramanian, ranked 64th globally, also had a successful outing, defeating Magnus Joahnnsen with a score of 21-5, 21-16 in a swift 38-minute match.


On a less fortunate note, PV Sindhu faced another early exit, as she was defeated by world No. 31 Julie Dawall Jakobsen, who won the match 21-17, 21-19 in 39 minutes.
