(Fatehabad News) Ratia. On the third day of the seven-day National Service Scheme camp at Ratia College, volunteers from the first unit conducted a cleanliness drive at the government middle school in the adopted village of Jakhandadi. Public Relations Officer Prof. Surendra Sharma shared that Dr. Sain Kumar expressed his views on cleanliness. The day commenced with yoga and prayers.
Lecture on Digital Literacy Awareness
Students read out the main headlines from various newspapers. A lecture was organized to raise awareness about digital literacy for volunteers from both units of the National Service Scheme, with Dr. Surendra Sabharwal from Government Khalsa Trishatabdi College in Ratia as the keynote speaker.
In his address, he explained to the students that digital literacy involves the effective and proper use of technological tools, the internet, and digital resources. In today's digital age, this skill has become essential at personal, educational, and professional levels.

Prof. Ritu, the in-charge of the first unit, motivated the volunteers on health and hygiene topics, providing detailed information about blood donation camps, vaccination drives, and the Clean India campaign. The in-charge of the second unit, Bindu, informed the students about the history of the National Service Scheme. All staff members and students were present during this event.
