Giriraj Singh Criticizes Rahul Gandhi Over Army Remarks

Central Minister's Strong Words Against Rahul Gandhi

On Friday, Central Minister Giriraj Singh launched a fierce critique of Rahul Gandhi, labeling him as 'useless' and accusing him of disrespecting the armed forces. Singh made these remarks while commenting on Gandhi's visit to Bihar. He stated that Gandhi's statements resemble those of Pakistan and reflect a lack of respect for the nation. Speaking to reporters, Giriraj Singh remarked, 'Rahul Gandhi has opposed India's valor, questioned the bravery of our soldiers, and tarnished the reputation of the army worldwide. The people of Bihar will oppose him; why would they vote for someone who disrespects the army and the country? Rahul Gandhi's rhetoric is akin to that of Pakistan, showing no regard for our nation.'

Singh further asserted that Prime Minister Modi is not being disrespected. He questioned whether it was the army that won in 1971 or Indira Gandhi. 'It was the army that triumphed. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, when in opposition, stated that there is no longer a party, only India. And this useless man (Rahul Gandhi) mocks the valor of our country and its army. Such a person should be boycotted.' On Friday, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi arrived at Gaya Airport in Bihar. According to the official Congress account on X, he is set to address a 'Constitution Conference' and participate in several events.

Previously, Rahul Gandhi visited Darbhanga, where he interacted with students and discussed issues like caste census and reservations. Despite not receiving permission from the Bihar police, he spoke at the Ambedkar Hostel in Darbhanga in May, leading to a case being filed against him by the district administration. He emphasized the importance of social justice and highlighted the need for a caste census, criticizing the government's policies and stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was compelled to announce it due to public pressure.
