On Saturday evening, the microblogging service X, previously known as Twitter and owned by Elon Musk, encountered significant outages impacting numerous users. Reports of problems began surfacing around 6 PM IST, as indicated by Downdetector.


Users across various devices, including Android and iPhone mobile users as well as desktop users, reported difficulties accessing the platform. Many Indian users took to alternative social media to express their frustrations, noting that X was failing to load and displaying error messages. Currently, there has been no official statement from Elon Musk or X Corp regarding the cause of these disruptions.


Earlier on May 24, a similar situation arose when users struggled to log into their X accounts, with many unable to receive notifications or post updates. Downdetector confirmed that over 5,000 users reported these issues, indicating a widespread global problem.
