Eshan Malinga's Impressive Performance

In a crucial moment during the match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Eshan Malinga, who had been underperforming, was given the responsibility by Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins in the 16th over. Malinga rose to the occasion, executing a remarkable run-out followed by a catch off his own bowling. On the fifth delivery, a mix-up between Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma left Patidar stranded in the middle of the pitch. Seizing the opportunity, Eshan sprinted after the ball and made a perfect throw to hit the stumps.

The sixth ball of the over saw Malinga claim his second wicket with a well-disguised slower delivery that Romario Shephard misread. As Shepherd attempted to back away, he failed to connect properly, sending a simple catch back to Malinga's left, which he expertly caught.
