Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Steals the Spotlight: Launching in Q3 2023 Ahead of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5

Earlier reports claimed that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S23 Fan Edition in the fourth quarter of 2023. However, a new development indicates that the Galaxy S23 FE will launch much earlier than expected. The early arrival of the device is said to be due to the alleged poor sales of the Galaxy S23 series, which debuted earlier this year.

It seems that the initial wave of tech enthusiasts had already acquired the newly unveiled Galaxy S23 series by March, but it seems that it has not attracted as much interest from other buyers since then. The tipster added that due to slow sales of the S23 lineup, it is being said that Samsung might announce the Galaxy S23 FE in some markets before it unveils the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. So, it is likely that the S23 FE could debut around July or August this year.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy S23 FE will be a cheaper version of the Galaxy S23. As its specifications are not much different from the S23, it won't take much time for Samsung to prepare and launch it in the market. The report revealed that the Galaxy S23 FE will have an Exynos 2200 chipset. It will have 6 GB/8 GB RAM and 128 GB/256 GB storage. The device will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

The S23 FE will have a 120Hz AMOLED display on the front. At the back, the device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support.

Sales of the Galaxy S23 lineup have dropped significantly this month (May). It is estimated that sales of the Galaxy S22 series could drop by more than 20 percent in the second quarter of this year compared to what it achieved in the same period last year.
