High-Level Security Meeting in New Delhi


New Delhi: On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a crucial meeting with senior defence officials to assess the escalating security landscape due to the ongoing military tensions with Pakistan.


During this meeting, Modi engaged with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, the heads of the three armed services, and Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan to evaluate the current security situation and formulate future strategies, as reported by officials.


The military conflict with Pakistan has escalated, with Indian forces responding effectively to Pakistani provocations aimed at Indian military installations.


According to Indian sources, Pakistan's military has been repositioning its troops closer to the border, as both nations continue to target each other's military assets.


"We have observed the Pakistan military mobilizing their forces towards the border regions," stated Colonel Sofiya Qureshi during a press briefing, accompanied by Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
