Devastation Following Plane Crash in Ahmedabad
A catastrophic incident unfolded in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, when an Air India flight met with disaster shortly after takeoff. The aircraft was en route to London and had a total of 242 individuals on board, including crew members. Just minutes into the flight, the plane crashed, resulting in a loud explosion and a visible plume of smoke in the sky.
Among the passengers were several foreign nationals, including a couple from Agra. Neeraj Lavanian and his wife, Aparna Lavanian, were on their way to London for a vacation. They chose this flight from Ahmedabad as Neeraj was employed in a private firm in Vadodara.
The news of the plane crash has sent shockwaves through their family. As soon as the incident became known, a crowd began to gather at their home in Akola village. Rajkumar Chahar, the Member of Parliament from Fatehpur Sikri, visited the family to offer his condolences.
Neeraj's brother, Satish, recounted that he was watching breaking news when he learned about the flight's tragic fate. He immediately called his niece, only to find out that his younger brother was on that very flight to London.
According to Satish, Neeraj held a managerial position at a company in Vadodara. His daughter has already arrived in Ahmedabad, and they have spoken on the phone. She mentioned that there is still no information regarding the situation. Following the news of the crash, more people have been arriving at Neeraj's home. Notably, Neeraj has one daughter who is currently pursuing her graduation.
In response to the tragedy, MP Rajkumar Chahar expressed his sorrow, stating that the incident in Ahmedabad is heartbreaking and has left the entire nation in shock. The flight, which was headed to London, had 242 passengers, including Neeraj and Aparna Lavanian from his constituency.
