Additionally, the IMD predicts further rain and gusty winds in northwest India over the next few days, with the most intense weather expected on June 2nd and 3rd.
Travelers planning to visit Uttarakhand from June 2nd to 4th, as well as those in Punjab and Haryana on June 3rd, should reconsider their plans due to anticipated heavy downpours. Other areas likely to be affected include Assam and Meghalaya on June 2nd and 3rd, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on June 2nd, and Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Odisha from June 2nd to 4th. The Met Department's latest announcement indicates that the Northern Limit of Monsoon is currently positioned at 17.0°N/55°E, 17.5°N/60°E, 18°N/65°E, 18.5°N/70°E, passing through Mumbai, Ahilyanagar, Adilabad, Bhawanipatna, Puri, Sandhead Island, 23.5°N/89.5°E, Balurghat, and 30°N/85°E.
