MANDI: At the vibrant Sarnahuli Utsav, journalist and budding author Satya Mahesh Sharma was honored as Himachal Pradesh's PWD Minister, Vikramaditya Singh, unveiled his latest publication, 'Adbhut Parashar.' This book is a meticulously researched and visually stunning tribute to Maharishi Parashar, a revered sage from the Himalayas.
Former Minister Kaul Singh Thakur attended the event as a distinguished guest, commending Sharma's contributions to literature.

Published by Naman Prakashan in New Delhi, 'Adbhut Parashar' explores the rich cultural and mystical heritage of Parashar, a sacred site perched at 2,730 meters in the Mandi district. This release signifies another achievement for Satya Mahesh Sharma, who is emerging as a significant literary figure from Himachal Pradesh.

Sharma's book is notable for its comprehensive examination of the religious, ecological, historical, and archaeological importance of the Parashar area. During the launch, Balbir Thakur, president of the Parashar Mandir Committee, Bandhi, praised the book for its thorough exploration of local traditions, natural beauty, and the sage's legendary ties to the region.
“This work transcends mere literature; it serves as a spiritual and cultural record of one of Himachal’s most sacred sites. The narrative is both scholarly and approachable, making it a valuable resource for researchers, writers, and devotees,” Thakur remarked.
Enhancing the book's appeal are striking visuals by Himachal Gaurav awardee photojournalist Birbal Sharma, whose images lend authenticity and artistic flair to the publication.
