Massive Rally in Sambalpur

In Sambalpur, a significant 'Tiranga Yatra' took place on Friday, showcasing solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces following Operation Sindoor, a recent counter-terrorism initiative against Pakistan. This rally, organized by Citizens for National Security, saw a large turnout and included prominent political figures such as Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, and Panchayati Raj Minister Rabinarayan Naik.

The event aimed to honor the valor and achievements of the Indian Army and paramilitary forces involved in Operation Sindoor, which was launched in response to the tragic terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, resulting in the loss of 26 innocent lives.

During the operation, Indian forces successfully targeted and dismantled several terror camps located deep within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), marking a significant advancement in India's counter-terrorism strategy. The rally commenced with a floral tribute to the esteemed freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai at his statue, followed by a march from Jail Chhak to the Shaheed Stambha (Martyrs’ Pillar) at Kacheri Chhak, where participants paid their respects to fallen soldiers. The Tricolour march attracted a diverse group of citizens, including members from various political parties, social and cultural organizations, and volunteers.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan addressed the crowd, stating, “Today, the world has witnessed the peak of India’s military strength. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Operation Sindoor has redefined India’s global image.” He highlighted that, for the first time, multiple terror camps across Pakistan were entirely dismantled, and several air bases were also destroyed during the operation.

Reports indicate that over a hundred terrorists were eliminated. Pradhan called for unity among citizens across political lines to support the Indian Army, emphasizing that it is crucial for every Indian to stand behind the forces. He also mentioned that Operation Sindoor is currently paused, suggesting the potential for future actions. He encouraged the public to organize more Tricolour rallies to uplift the morale of the Indian Armed Forces and showcase national unity.
