Rajnath Singh Addresses Pakistan's Terrorism and India's Response

On Thursday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh stated that India could have taken more aggressive actions in response to terrorist attacks from Pakistan, highlighting the restraint shown during 'Operation Sindoor.' Speaking at an event in New Delhi, he emphasized that the people residing in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) are considered part of India. Singh remarked on the prevailing global uncertainty, attributing it to a lack of trust amidst ongoing conflicts worldwide.

He further elaborated that, in contrast to the global scenario, India has been striving to foster a strong atmosphere of trust among various sectors, communities, and economic areas within the country, achieving unprecedented success in these efforts. Singh pointed out that financing terrorism is not inexpensive, and Pakistan is beginning to realize the heavy toll it must pay for its actions. He mentioned that India's strategy and response to terrorism have been redefined, along with the parameters of its dialogue with Pakistan.

The senior leader made it clear that any future discussions will focus solely on terrorism and PoK. He expressed his belief that the people of PoK are part of India and its family. Committed to the vision of 'One India, Great India,' he is confident that those who are geographically and politically separated from India will eventually return to the mainstream.

Singh noted that most individuals in PoK feel a deep connection to India, with only a few misled by false narratives. He compared the situation of those in PoK to that of Shakti Singh, the younger brother of the legendary warrior Maharana Pratap. India has always advocated for unity and connection, and he believes that the day is not far when PoK will reunite with India, proclaiming, 'I am India, I have returned.' The integration of PoK into India is crucial for the cultural, social, and economic prosperity of the nation.
