Vigilance Operations Targeting Corruption


Bhubaneswar: On Thursday morning, the Odisha vigilance department initiated coordinated raids at various properties and offices linked to an additional block development officer (ABDO), according to official reports.


The action was prompted by allegations of the officer's possession of disproportionate assets (DA) that exceed his legitimate income sources. A team consisting of eight Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), nine inspectors, and additional personnel executed the search across seven different locations associated with the ABDO from the Dharmasala block in Jajpur district.


The raids spanned multiple districts, including Jajpur, Cuttack, Bhadrak, and Khurda (Bhubaneswar), as confirmed by the vigilance official.
