Haryana Assembly Budget Discussion
Haryana News | Chandigarh. During the budget discussion in the Haryana Assembly, MLA Shakti Rani Sharma emphasized that the budget serves as a cornerstone for the state's promising future. She stated that the budget presented by the Chief Minister will significantly strengthen Haryana in sectors such as agriculture, education, health, women's empowerment, industry, and infrastructure. Sharma highlighted the establishment of the Department of Future and AI as a major achievement of this budget.
Support for Farmers: 19.2% Increase in Agricultural Budget
The budget allocates ₹4,229 crores for agriculture, marking a 19.2% increase from the previous year. To promote natural farming, 1 lakh acres of land will be included under this initiative. Farmers who abandon paddy cultivation will receive ₹8,000 per acre, along with ₹1,200 per acre for managing crop residue.
Significant Educational Reforms: Model Schools Every 10 Kms
A budget of ₹22,296.82 crores has been set aside for education. A model cultural school will be established every 10 kilometers in Haryana. Additionally, 615 schools will feature science and math laboratories, where students will learn about robotics and artificial intelligence. A Haryana Math Competition will also be launched, offering cash prizes to outstanding students.
Economic Support and Safety for Women
For women's and child development, ₹1,372 crores have been allocated. Women dairy entrepreneurs will have access to interest-free loans of up to ₹1 lakh. Special hostels for women will be constructed in Panchkula, Panipat, Sonipat, Rewari, Faridabad, and Gurugram.
Enhancing Health and Road Infrastructure
To bolster health services, a budget of ₹10,159.54 crores has been earmarked. Each district hospital will feature a 50-bed intensive care unit, and AYUSH medical centers will be established in Rewari and Jind. Plans include repairing 6,500 kilometers of roads, constructing a new highway from Ballabgarh to Jewar Airport, setting up automated bus washing centers in every district, and transitioning 30% of buses to electric power over the next five years, improving Haryana's transportation and environmental conditions.

MLA Shakti Rani Sharma remarked that this budget is a testament to the progress of every village, city, and individual in Haryana. It is not merely a collection of numbers but a narrative of the state's bright future.
