On March 20, 2025, the Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, officially inaugurated the second edition of the Khelo India Para Games (KIPG) at the Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex in New Delhi.
This exciting event will see over 1,300 para-athletes from various parts of India competing in six different sports disciplines from March 20 to March 27, 2025.
Mandaviya expressed his optimism that the Games would serve as a significant platform for para-athletes to demonstrate their skills and achieve recognition for themselves and their nation.
He stated, “The Khelo India Para Games 2025 has commenced at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi. More than 1,300 para-athletes from across the country will take part... This is the second edition of the Khelo India Para Games. I believe that these Games will provide our para-athletes with the chance to excel.
