How to Play NYT Connections

In NYT Connections, players receive a grid filled with words and must identify the connections among them. Consider synonyms, antonyms, and related terms to solve the puzzle. The game provides hints to assist players, and you can track your daily progress and challenge friends to see who can solve the most puzzles. A new puzzle is available every day at midnight on the NYT website or app, featuring a grid of 16 words that need to be grouped into four sets of four based on their connections.

Each group is color-coded, with yellow typically being the easiest, followed by blue and green, while purple often presents the greatest challenge. Players must select four words that fit together and submit their guesses. Incorrect guesses result in a loss of life, and players are notified when they are close to forming a correct group. However, making four mistakes ends the game.
