The iconic player joined Al Nassr in 2022 after departing from Manchester United post-World Cup, signing a contract that initially spanned two and a half years.

During his time with the club, Ronaldo has scored an impressive 93 goals in 105 appearances across various competitions. His lucrative contract has positioned him as the highest-paid athlete globally, a title he has maintained for the past three years, according to Forbes.

At 40 years old, Ronaldo's total earnings are estimated to be around $275 million.

Demonstrating remarkable fitness, he recently led Portugal to victory in the UEFA Nations League, defeating Spain in the final.

With a remarkable tally of 932 career goals, he is on a quest to reach the milestone of 1,000 goals. At the club level, he has scored 794 goals, while his international record stands at 138 goals for Portugal.

Although Ronaldo has secured the Arab Club Champions Cup with Al Nassr, he is still in pursuit of the Saudi Pro League title, having finished as runners-up in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, and third in the 2024-25 season.

Fernando Hierro, the club's sporting director, expressed in May the club's eagerness to renew Ronaldo's contract, noting that they faced competition from other clubs interested in the veteran player.

These comments followed Ronaldo's earlier suggestion that his last match of the season against Al-Fateh might be his final appearance for Al Nassr.
