Weather Changes in Delhi
In the national capital, Delhi, the weather is undergoing significant fluctuations. Following two days of intense heat and humidity, a storm accompanied by thunder is anticipated on Friday. The meteorological department has also indicated a possibility of rain during this period.
The weather department has advised residents to exercise caution. It is recommended to venture out only when necessary and to take precautions against the rain. An orange alert has been issued for Delhi, signaling potential adverse weather conditions. Rain is expected in the city between June 30 and June 2, with wind speeds reaching 40-70 kilometers per hour.
On Friday, the maximum temperature in Delhi is projected to be around 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be approximately 27 degrees. Over the next five days, the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 37 and 38 degrees, with minimum temperatures ranging from 27 to 28 degrees. Meteorologists advise residents to stay alert due to the likelihood of rain and to carry raincoats or umbrellas when going outside.
According to the IMD, the orange alert serves as a reminder for residents to remain vigilant and prepare for changing weather conditions. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reported an air quality index (AQI) of 171 at 9 AM, categorizing it as 'moderate.' The CPCB classifies AQI levels as follows: 0-50 is 'good,' 51-100 is 'satisfactory,' 101-200 is 'moderate,' 201-300 is 'poor,' 301-400 is 'very poor,' and 401-500 is 'severe.'
