Zelina Vega's New Hollywood Endeavor
Zelina Vega, a prominent WWE Smackdown Superstar, is making strides towards a Hollywood career while continuing her journey in professional wrestling. Reports indicate that she has signed with Prototype Talent Agency, the same agency that represents fellow wrestler Cody Rhodes.
The agency will assist Vega in pursuing various opportunities, including roles in television and film, as well as voiceover work. Notably, she has previously lent her voice to the 2023 video game, Street Fighter 6. Prototype Talent Agency also represents other wrestling figures such as Bubba Ray Dudley and Billy Gunn. Vega will maintain her existing representation with Torres Benet alongside this new partnership.
After enduring challenges within the WWE roster, Vega achieved a significant milestone by winning the Women’s United States Championship on WWE Smackdown in April. This victory marked her first singles title, enhancing her reputation as a credible solo champion.

In a thrilling match on April 25, during the post-Wrestlemania 41 edition of WWE Smackdown, Zelina Vega triumphed over Chelsea Green to claim the Women’s United States Championship. This victory came just a week after she had pinned Green, showcasing her determination to maintain her title until Summerslam, which will take place in her hometown of New York, New Jersey.
However, her reign faced a setback when, on June 27, Giulia defeated Vega to capture the championship. Despite Vega's fierce attempts, including her signature move, the Code Red, Giulia ultimately secured the win with a northern lights bomb, ending Vega's title reign.
Currently, Vega is preparing for a rematch against Giulia for the WWE Women’s United States Championship on the August 1 episode of WWE SmackDown. This match serves as a crucial lead-up to the Summerslam premium live event.
