The IMD reports that conditions are favorable for the further advancement of the Southwest monsoon over the remaining parts of the North Arabian Sea, as well as additional areas in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, and the Northwest Bay of Bengal, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and parts of Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh in the next 2-3 days.
