Concerns Over IMF Loan to Pakistan

During a recent address at the Bhuj Air Base, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his views on several topics, including the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) recent approval of a $1 billion loan to Pakistan. India chose to abstain from voting on this loan, citing concerns related to terrorism.


Singh stated, "I am concerned that a significant portion of the funds allocated by the IMF will be directed towards enhancing terror infrastructure within Pakistan. India urges the IMF to reconsider its decision to fund Pakistan."


Operation Sindoor and the Role of the Indian Air Force

The Defence Minister highlighted the crucial role played by the Indian Air Force in Operation Sindoor, which has garnered recognition both domestically and internationally. He noted, "In this operation, our forces not only outperformed the adversaries but also effectively neutralized them. This operation against terrorism was spearheaded by our Armed Forces. Our Air Force has demonstrated exceptional capability, reaching every corner of Pakistan, which is a remarkable achievement."
