Overview of Operation Sindoor's Impact

On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the effectiveness of India's military response following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the loss of 26 lives. He noted that indigenous BrahMos missiles successfully targeted and destroyed air defense systems supplied by China to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.

Significance of Operation Sindoor

Speaking at a public event in the Narayanpura area of Ahmedabad, Shah stated that the history of national security and border protection would forever remember Operation Sindoor. The event also marked the inauguration and foundation-laying of development projects worth over ₹1,550 crores by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, including an overbridge at the busy Pallav intersection on the 132-foot ring road.

Tribute to Victims and Acknowledgment of Military Efforts

In his address, Shah paid tribute to the victims of the April 22 terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's political will, the valor and capability of the Indian Armed Forces, and precise intelligence from agencies for the destruction of nine terrorist hideouts within Pakistan.

Details of the Military Operation

According to reports, Shah mentioned that while the domestically developed BrahMos supersonic cruise missile system effectively targeted Pakistani air bases, the air defense system borrowed from China remained unused. The Indian Air Force executed precise strikes, inflicting significant damage on locations previously deemed impregnable.

Historical Recognition of Operation Sindoor

Shah asserted that Operation Sindoor would be historically recognized for its contribution to border security and for exposing Pakistan's ties to terrorism on a global platform. He remarked that previous surgical strikes and airstrikes were limited to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK), whereas Operation Sindoor involved penetrating 100 kilometers into Pakistani territory to eliminate terrorists and their operational centers.

Exposing Pakistan's Terrorism Denial

He highlighted that Pakistan had long claimed there were no terrorist activities within its borders while accusing India of false complaints. However, through Operation Sindoor, terrorists were neutralized, revealing Pakistan's true nature to the world.

Link Between Pakistani Military and Terrorism

Shah pointed out that senior officials of the Pakistani military participated in the funerals of terrorists and prayed for them, thereby exposing the collusion between the Pakistani army, the state, and terrorism. This revelation has made it clear that Pakistan operates terrorist bases.
