Aam Aadmi Party's Bold Move for Bihar Elections

In a significant announcement regarding the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has declared its intention to contest all available seats. Saurabh Bhardwaj, the president of AAP Delhi, confirmed that the party is committed to participating in every constituency across Bihar. This decision follows an earlier agreement during the Gujarat by-elections, where it was decided that both Congress and AAP would contest on designated seats. However, Congress later declared a candidate against AAP's nominee for the last seat, prompting AAP to proceed independently in the Bihar elections.

AAP is actively working to organize its party workers in the state and promote the Delhi development model among voters. Rakesh Yadav, the president of AAP Bihar, is leading a campaign that began in April and aims to cover most of the state's geographical areas. Ajay Yadav, AAP's Bihar in-charge, stated that many residents from Bihar have witnessed the development achieved by the AAP government in areas such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure while in Delhi. The party has a strong presence in the Purvanchal region, and both party workers and the general public in Bihar are eager for AAP to contest the elections. Consequently, preparations are underway to strengthen the party's organization in the state.

Yadav further mentioned that there are no plans to reach out to RJD or Congress for an alliance. He emphasized, "AAP has its organizational strength and public support. The local party unit is keen on contesting the assembly elections independently. Therefore, we are preparing for all 243 seats in Bihar." He also claimed that AAP already has organizational units established in every district and assembly constituency, with booth-level units set to commence operations soon.
