A Night of Classical Music at ML Koser Indoor Auditorium

The 307th monthly baithak, hosted by Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh, featured a captivating classical vocal performance by the talented Priyanka Thakur on Saturday. This event was held at the ML Koser Indoor Auditorium, located in Sector 35B. Priyanka opened the evening with a beautiful rendition of Raag Malkauns, starting with a Vilambit Khayal titled Peer Na Jane Balam. She then transitioned into a lively Drut Khayal piece, Balam Nahi Aaye, which infused the performance with vibrant energy and rhythm.


The highlight of the evening was her rendition of Har Har Mahadev Pati, a Tappa Khayal performed in Ati Drut, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience. To wrap up the performance, she sang the beloved Himachali folk song Kunju Chanchalo, which was met with resounding applause. Priyanka was skillfully accompanied by Divyansh Thakur on tabla and Piyush Mishra on harmonium, both of whom enriched the musical experience.
