Saudia Airlines Flight Encounters Technical Difficulties

A Saudia Airlines aircraft transporting Hajj pilgrims faced a technical malfunction at Lucknow Airport on Monday. Witnesses reported seeing smoke and sparks emanating from one of the wheels.

This is a developing story, and further information is expected soon.

In a separate incident, a Lufthansa flight that was set to arrive at Hyderabad airport on the same day had to turn back to Frankfurt, Germany, due to a bomb threat, as confirmed by officials.

Flight LH752, which took off from Germany, was scheduled to land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad early Monday morning. However, Lufthansa stated that they were not granted landing permission, while an official from the Hyderabad airport indicated that the flight was subjected to a bomb threat.

A representative from Lufthansa explained, “We did not receive authorization to land in Hyderabad, which is why the aircraft returned.” An airport official confirmed that the flight turned back to Germany after the bomb threat was reported while it was still outside Indian airspace.
