The team is focused on finalizing their preparations for the Test series starting on June 20.

At the request of head coach Gautam Gambhir, this four-day match simulation is taking place behind closed doors without any media coverage, allowing several players to adapt to the conditions in England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the standout performers from the first day through a social media post, highlighting that KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, and captain Shubman Gill all scored half-centuries, while Shardul Thakur impressed with his bowling.
