Ram Navami 2023: Ram Navami is widely celebrated across India with grand festivities as it is the birthday of Lord Rama. It is also celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm by Hindus all over the world. This year, Ram Navami will be celebrated on March 30. Ram Navami, as the name suggests, falls on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra according to the Hindu calendar. On this auspicious day, devotees of Lord Rama perform puja and perform various rituals while worshiping the deity. An essential aspect of any festival is food. Therefore, devotees prepare special prasad or offerings for Lord Rama.

Besan ladles
Besan Ladoo is a popular Indian sweet made with gram or gram flour, ghee, sugar and cardamom powder. To make besan laddoos, roast gram flour in ghee until golden brown. Add sugar, cardamom powder and chopped almonds and mix well. Make small balls of the mixture and serve as prasad.
Coconut Ladoo
Coconut Ladoo is a simple and delicious prasad made with grated coconut, sugar and milk. To make coconut laddus, mix 1 cup grated coconut, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup milk in a pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to leave the sides of the pan. Then remove the pan from the heat or fire and let the mixture cool. Once cooled, make small balls from the mixture and garnish with chopped almonds.
Panjiri
Panjiri is a traditional Indian sweet made from wheat flour, ghee, sugar and almonds. It is a nutritious and energy-rich food suitable for offering to Lord Rama. To prepare panjeeri, fry wheat flour in ghee until golden brown. Add some sugar, few almonds and a pinch of cardamom powder and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool and serve as prasad.

Mithi Poha is an easy and quick prasad recipe that you can prepare in no time. Wash pouha or flat rice and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain the water and mix the poha with jaggery, grated coconut and roasted peanuts. Garnish with sliced fruits like banana or mango and offer to Lord Rama.
